A 16th-note funk tune, with a feel reminiscent of Tower of Power, featuring the sound of a Hammond B3 organ playing the head and soloing. Accompanied by funky drums and electric bass.

The Henry Kapono Foundation’s Music Makers Concert Series at the Mānoa Valley Theatre presents the Honolulu Jazz Quartet, performing its 100 Years of Jazz show on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Tim, John, Dan and Noel welcome special guests DeShannon Higa, Jeannette Trevias, Kainalu Kolivas and Robert Pennybacker for a special night of music from Louis Armstrong, the Gershwins, Miles Davis, Nora Jones and more.
There will be an opening set by Henry Kapono Foundation’s On The Rise artists, hosted by Alx Kawakami.
