RECORDINGS
New single, “The Calm After the Storm” out now - my first release with mixes in both stereo and Dolby Atmos / Spatial Audio (on Apple and Amazon Music, Tidal, etc.) It was geat to hear the clarity, and to pan the piano’s range to surround the listener in a u-shape, while the snare and tom drum fills add some left and right motion in front.
A piano-bass-drums trio piece that alternates between misterioso and energized in a light-rock way, evoking that moist, fresh feeling of the setting sun being revealed right after a storm.
New single, “Get Funky With It!”, releasing 7/23.
A funky synth-based instrumental with a hiphop groove, featuring a mellow synth head in stereo 4ths, and a more soaring synth solo, clavinet comping, fat syn-brass chords, a funky synth bass, and hiphop-style drums. So crank it up and dance!
My 2nd single with a Dolby Atmos mix (incl. Spatial Audio for Apple). It was great to hear the clarity, and to play with panning, including some subtle movement of the individual parts.
